摘要

To explore the effectiveness and safety of different treatment options for osteoarthritis by using scientific literature search strategy, data mining, and visual econometric analysis with the help of software in domestic and overseas literature databases, to select the best treatment options from them, and to validate the effectiveness of the various treatment options for osteoarthritis with a view to providing high-quality clinical evidences for osteoarthritis treatments. The aim is to provide high quality clinical evidence for the treatment of osteoarthritis.

We selected the clinical controlled research trials and modern TCM masters' experience in the treatment of osteoarthritis from domestic and international databases up to July 2025, set up a database, selected about 50% of the current hot topics, and performed bi-directional clustering analysis and other data mining methods with graphical clustering toolkit, and carried out a bibliometric visualization analysis of the hot topics in the literature, to summarize the hot topics of osteoarthritis. The research hotspots of osteoarthritis in Chinese medicine were summarized.

1. A total of 2,251 pieces of literature related to the treatment of osteoarthritis with Chinese medicine were included in the domestic database, and the number of research hotspot keywords appeared 10 times or more, and the number of keywords when the cumulative frequency reached about 50% was 93, among which the number of the largest number of literature, the contents of the research themes of the literature were highly consistent and could be differentiated from the contents of other themes in the typical clusters, and the theme words of this category were mainly “warm acupuncture and moxibustion”, “fuyang moxibustion”, “dushi moxibustion”, “gui zhi and epiphyllum-like prescription”, “osteoarthritis”, “osteoarthritis of the knee”, “small needle knife”, “inflammatory factor”, etc. Through comprehensive Reading can be considered that moxibustion duchenne method, warm acupuncture duchenne points, Chinese medicine on the treatment of osteoarthritis of the knee can achieve better results. 2. Literature related to the treatment of osteoarthritis with traditional Chinese medicine has been included in foreign databases for a total of 1,161 articles, and the number of research hot keywords with a frequency of 7 times or more, and the number of keywords when the cumulative frequency reaches about 50% is 87, among which the number of literature is relatively large, and the content of its own theme is consistent with the content of the content of the theme of the typical clustering of a good degree of differentiation with the content of the other studies, mainly for the study of the cohort, acupuncture and moxibustion. The number of co-occurrences between words such as cohort study, acupuncture, moxibustion, and combined traditional Chinese and Western medicine treatment, and NSAIDs is high, and it is possible to consider that the efficacy of acupuncture, moxibustion, or combined traditional Chinese and Western medicine treatment for osteoarthritis is better than that of the control group through a comprehensive reading.

By comprehensively analyzing the research hotspots of osteoarthritis in the domestic and foreign literature and the experience of modern Chinese medicine masters in diagnosis and treatment, we found that the number of Chinese medicine research literature on osteoarthritis in recent years has been gradually increasing, and the research hotspots are mainly concentrated in the “osteoarthritis of the knee”, “Chinese medicine”, “Chinese medicine”, “osteoarthritis of the knee”, “Chinese medicine” and “Chinese medicine”, and “Chinese medicine”. Chinese medicine“, ”deficiency of liver and kidney“, ”supporting Yang“, ”external treatment of Chinese medicine“, ”warm acupuncture and moxibustion". “, in which ”yang deficiency and cold condensation“ and ”moxibustion" are the core hotspots, in line with the clinical knowledge of Chinese medicine on osteoarthritis, i.e., osteoarthritis of the knee after the age of 50 is a typical representative of the Chinese medicine pattern and the deficiency of the liver and kidney caused by the Yang deficiency is closely related to the weakness of the liver and kidney, Chinese medicine believes that the lack of yang qi, malnourishment are the causes of the disease, the external evil attack, the evil stagnation of the meridians is the key to the disease mechanism, the use of Yang-supporting methods, such as moxibustion, can achieve better results. It suggests that Yang-supporting Chinese medicine can play a role in slowing down the progression of the disease.
